Indian citizen injured in gun shot

KATHMANDU: An Indian citizen, was injured in a gun shot at in Kapilvastu.

A 35-year-old Irshad Khan of Aligarhwa in Siddharthnagar district of India was shot twice in Mayadevi Rural Municipality 4 Chakarchouda Bazar.

Prem Bahadur Basnet, the Kapilvastu Police Superintendent, stated that Khan, an Indian citizen, was shot twice in the shoulder and waist. He was reportedly transported to Gorakhpur Medical College in India for treatment.

The person who shot the bullet has not been identified.

According to the District Police Office Kapilvastu, the search for and investigation of the person who shot the gun was conducted in collaboration with the Indian Police.
