KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Limited has opened its 123rd branch in Lalbandi, Lalbandi Municipality, Sarhali, as part of its efforts to provide modern banking services to customers from all walks of life.

Mr. Basudev Adhikari, Mayor of Lalbandi Municipality, and Mr. Sudesh Khaling, Chief Executive Officer of Everest Bank Ltd, jointly inaugurated the branch at Lalbandi, Sarlahi, during a special function attended by Mr. Dipendra Kumar Balampaki, President of Lalbandi Udhyog Banijya Sangh, Mr. Lal Bahadur Yonjan, Ward Chairperson of Lalbandi Municipality Ward No 6, Mr. With the addition of this new branch, the total number of EBl branches in Madhesh State has increased to 13.

Furthermore, under CSR, the bank handed over a cheque for Rs. 50,00/- to M/s. Relative Nepal for the establishment of an E-library.

Mr. Sudesh Khaling, Chief Executive Officer of Everest Bank Ltd, presented the cheque to Mr. Jay Prakash Mandal, Executive Director of M/s. Relative Nepal, during a special program. M/s. Shiv Shakti Secondary School, Bateshwar Rural Municipality-4, Dhanusha, will house the E-Library.
