PR vote count: UML leading, NC in second place
UML secured 2,761,648 votes, according to election results released by the Election Commission (EC) at 4:00 p.m.

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) was ahead when 10,346,817 votes were counted for the proportional election of the House of Representatives.

The Nepali Congress, which won the most seats in the direct election for members of the House of Representatives, is in second position with 2,630,141.
Similarly, the CPN (Maoist Center) has retained third place with 1,160,783 votes, while the National Independent Party has received 111,4258 votes.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) secured 5,849,69 votes, Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) secured 4,20,750 votes, and Janamat Party secured 3,941,29 votes. To surpass the threshold, three percent of the total verified votes cast in the proportional election should be brought.
In the direct election of members of the House of Representatives, the CPN (Unified Socialist) won 10 seats and secured 2,939,05 votes.
The Civil Liberation Party secured 2,715,65 votes, the LSP secured 1,671,20 votes, and the NWPP secured 75,026 votes.
According to the EC, the process of counting votes for proportionaly is nearly complete.
