KATHMANDU: Vote counts has begun in Bajura. The counting of votes began at 3:30 p.m., after an all-party meeting called by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer Bajura decided to count the votes.

The Election Commission (EC) decided to count the stalled votes yesterday.

However, votes count could not begin as the UML boycotted the all-party meeting. The counting of votes began after the UML’s demands were met.

The UML demanded the arrest of student leader Chetan Aidy’s murderer and the release of UML activists arrested during the protest on Nov 20.
