Dhangadhi: Grader crushes student to death, family refuses to accept body

KATHMANDU: A student was killed when a grader collided with her bicycle on Dhangadhi’s Hasanpur Pipal Chautara road.
A schoolgirl was killed when a construction grader named Kalika collided with her bicycle in Hasanpur, Dhangadhi on Thursday.
Chetna Saud, 15, a resident of Dhangadhi Sub-City-4, died on the spot.
Locals claim she was intentionally killed by a reversing grader. Family refuses to accept the body. Hundreds of students and locals used to pass through that school road.
According to police, the deceased girl was studying in grade 8 at Panchodaya Secondary School, and she was cycling to her school when the accident occurred.
The school’s students have blocked the road in that area and are chanting slogans.
Bimal Kumal, 27, a resident of Bharatpur-28 of the Chitwan district, was apprehended by police.
