KATHMANDU: Thirty-five percent of voting in Dolakha’s 10 polling stations had been completed as of 12 p.m.

According to Chief Electoral Officer Dilliratna Shrestha, 35 percent of the voting has been completed as of 7 a.m. today. He also stated that voting is proceeding peacefully and that voters are enthusiastic.

There are 8,514 voters in four places in the polling station.

The Election Commission (EC) decided in the meeting held on Nov 27 to vote today in polling stations A, B, and C of Baiteshwor Secondary School in Baiteshwor Rural Municipality-6 in Dolakha, as well as Polling Stations A and B of Janjyoti Secondary School Putli Kath in Ward 2, Tamakosi Rural Municipality-3 Health Post Building Juphe.

The EC decided to cancel the election that was held on Nov 20 and re-vote at the same place on Nov 27.

Security has been tightened in those polling stations.
