He did not, however, specify who would lead the NC parliamentary party.

KATHMANDU: Dr. Shekhar Koirala, leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), has stated that the new government will be formed under the leadership of the NC.
He declared that the election results were “satisfactory,” and that the NC would form the government.
He did not, however, specify who would lead the NC parliamentary party.
Leader Dr. Koirala informed that a decision will be taken after consultation with the party chairperson and party members regarding the unanimous selection or election of the leader of the Congress parliamentary party.
Speaking at a program in Biratnagar, he stated that Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Parliamentary Party’s leader, may take the initiative to reclaim the position.
“Given the current situation, it appears that Deuba has the upper hand,” Koirala said.
He said that it is very important to maintain good governance and reduce corruption for the prosperity of the country.
Leader Dr. Koirala also thanked the representative and State Assembly elections held on Nov 20 in a fair and rigged manner and the voters made Congress the biggest party for the protection of democracy.
