NC’s Gurung leading taken lead in Syangja-2, followed by Aryal

KATHMANDU: Dhanraj Gurung, a Nepali Congress (NC) candidate, has taken the lead in the latest vote count in Syangja 2.

He has been trailing since the beginning and has recently taken the lead.

Gurung obtained 3,901 votes, while UML’s Padma Aryal secured 3,247 votes.

So far, the votes of Galyang Municipality Wards 6 and 7 and Bhirkot Municipality Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8 have been counted.

Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Tikaraj Gurung garnered 761 votes.

There have been 8,465 votes counted so far.
