KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress candidate Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has once again taken the lead in Sunsari Constituency No. 4.
When the counting of votes nearing to the end, Karki, who is also the Minister of Communications, had a lead of 68 votes.
According to the latest vote results released, Karki obtained 30,309 votes while CPN-UML candidate Jagdish Prasad Kusiyait got 30,241 votes.
Now 358 votes remain to be counted in this area.
Bidyananda Yadav of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) secured 3,196 votes while Jeevan Kumar Shrestha of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured 3,152 votes.
