RPP Chair Lingden lays foundation stone of three bridges

BIRATNAGAR: Rajendra Lingden, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Jhapa Constituency No. 3, laid the foundation stone of three bridges on the same day.

Three bridges were laid on the same day on Wednesday. Lingden, who is also the chairperson of RPP, laid the foundation stone of 3 concrete bridges to be built in Haldibari Rural Municipality.

Sara Srishti Nirman Sewa Pvt Ltd, which signed a contract for the construction of three bridges for 4 crore 67 lakh 94 thousand 878 rupees, completed the work on 2081 Mangsir 5 (21 Nov, 2032).

According to this plan, a bridge of 42.7 meters length will be constructed on the Bhuteni River connecting Haldibari Ward No. 1 and 5, similarly a bridge of 26.8 meters length will be constructed on the Bhusudi River of Ward No. 3 and a bridge of 26.8 meters length on the other side of the Bhusudi River, informed Subash Shrestha, the chief administrative officer of the rural municipality.

The contract for the construction of the concrete bridge has been contracted by displacing the last three wooden bridges within the municipality area, and the construction will be completed within the time limit, according to Rabindra Lingden, the chairperson of the municipality.

Chhabi Chudal, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Jhapa Constituency No. 3 (B), was also in attendance.
