Budget expenditure of Karnali State government: 7.5 percent in four months

SURKHET: The Karnali state government has spent only 7.67 percent of the total budget in the first quarter of the financial year 2079/80.

According to the State Comptroller of Accounts, a total of 32 billion 61 crore 61 lakh 62 thousand rupees has been brought in for the current fiscal year, but only 2 billion 50 hundred 2 lakh 2 thousand 103 rupees has been spent in the first quarter.

Currently, 1.1 billion 46 million 36 million 63 thousand 605, or 11.10 percent of the budget, has been spent out of a total budget of 13 billion 18 million 56 million 38 thousand. Similarly, capital has been allocated 19 billion 43 crore 5 lakh 24 thousand, but only 5 decimal, or 33 percent, of the budget has been spent.

Capital totaled 1 billion 365 million 38 thousand 499 rupees has been spent.
