England advance to World Cup last 16 after defeating Wales

Wales drew 1-1 with the USA in the first match of Group B, splitting the points. The previous tour ended in disaster when they were defeated 2-0 by Iran in the second match.
The match took a different turn when Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessy was sent off in the 86th minute of the match against Iran. Against Wales, Phil Foden scored one goal and Marcus Rashford scored two.
England won this group, while America finished second and advanced to the knockout stage. Iran and Wales have been eliminated from the group stage.
