KATHMANDU: Vote count under the proportional representation (PR) under the elections to the House of Representatives and the State Assembly is ongoing. The elections were held on Nov 20.

As per the vote count till 10:30 am, the CPN (UML) has secured 2,593,466 votes followed by the Nepali Congress (NC) with 2,455,303 votes.

Similarly, the CPN (Maoist Centre) has got 1,104,833 votes while the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) 1,074,196, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) 552,874, the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) 358,922 and the Janamant Party 301,620.

Likewise, the CPN (Unified Socialist) has garnered 265,547 votes, the Nagarik Unmukti Party 245,305, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) 138,408, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) 73,169, Hamro Nepali Party 53,352, Mangol National Organisation 46,501 and Rastriya Janamorcha 45,305.
