Dhanusha 4: NC’s Yadav’s lead remains, followed by UML’s Mahaseth

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Co-General Minister Mahendra Yadav has maintained his lead in Dhanusha 4, where only votes are left to be counted in Madhesh State.

Yadav, the candidate of the power coalition, has taken the lead with 747 votes.

So far, Yadav has obtained 28,657 votes.

Raghubir Mahaseth, who is also the secretary of CPN-UML is trailing Yadav. Mahaseth has secured 27,910 votes so far.

Now only the votes of 3 wards of Mithila Municipality remain to be counted.

The results of this area are expected to come by tonight.
