With 2,534,323 votes, UML leads PR vote count

KATHMANDU: The CPN (UML) leads with 2,534,323 votes out of over 9.3 million votes counted so far under proportional representation.

Similarly, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured 1,063,718 votes, the CPN (Maoist Center) secured 1,062,747 votes, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) secured 545,656 votes, and the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) secured 326,372 votes.
With 262,826 and 252,027 votes, respectively, the Janamat Party and the CPN (Unified Socialist) are struggling to cross the threshold.
According to the Election Commission (EC), the Nagarik Unmukti Party secured 237,962 votes, the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party secured 127,918, the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) secured 72,800 votes, the Hamro Nepali Party secured 52,843, the Mangol National Organisation secured 45,663, the Rastriya Janamorcha secured 44,873, the Nepal Sanghiya Samajbadi Party secured 31,229 votes, and the CPN (ML)
A total of 47 parties had taken part in the PR.
Similarly, the EC has continued to count state PR votes.
So far, 1,584,869 votes have been counted in State 1.
Likewise, Madhesh State had 1,625,758 votes counted, Bagmati State had 1,598,434 votes counted, Gandaki State had 918,839 votes counted, Lumbini State had 1,859,062 votes counted, Karnali State had 577,829 votes counted, and Sudurpaschim State had 807,138 votes counted.
