Four members of the Gandaki State Assembly who were elected in 2074 have been re-elected.

POKHARA: Four members of the Gandaki State Assembly who were elected in 2074 have been re-elected.
Bindukumar Thapa of Congress from Kaski 2 (B), Hari Bahadur Chuman of Maoist from Tanahun 1 (B), Roshan Gaha Thapa of UML from Nawalpur 1 (B) and independent Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manange from Manang (B) can also be seen in the current parliament. They have all won elections in previous constituencies.
UML had repeated the old face Mohan Regmi in Syangja 2 (A). Counting has not started yet. Rajeev Pahari, who wanted to repeat in Kaski 3 (B), was defeated. Indradhara Bista from Mustang (A) and Chandra Mohan Gauchan from (B) tried to repeat.
Ram Bahadur Gurung was the UML leader who was hoping to enter parliament for the second time from Tanahun 1 (A). Meena Gurung, a UML proportional MP, ran unopposed in Kaski 2 (B). They, too, have been defeated. Maoists gave old faces a seat in Kaski 1 (A).
Deepak Koirala had been defeated. Rastriya Janamorcha has placed Piari Thapa of Baglung on the proportional list for the second time. However, it appears that Janamorcha will not win a single seat here.
There are new faces in each of the 30 seats that have been announced thus far. The rest of the proportional MPs will almost certainly have new faces as well. In Gandaki, Congress won 16, UML 12, Maoists 5, and one independent vote.
