NC’s Limbu won from Morang-1
Limbu secured 25,794 votes in the final results announced by the election office on Saturday.
KATHMANDu: Dig Bahadur Limbu of the Nepali Congress (NC) has won in Morang Constituency No. 1.
According to the Office of the Election Officer, Limbu defeated CPN-UML candidate Ghanshyam Khatiwada.
Limbu secured 25,794 votes in the final results announced by the election office on Saturday, while Khatiwada obtained 25,469 votes.
Limbu defeated Khatiwada in the 2074 election, and Khatiwada defeated Limbu in the 2070 election.
Similarly, in State Assembly 1(1), Uma Kanta Khanal of the CPN-UML defeated Kushal Samba of the Democratic Left Alliance by 3,527 votes. UML’s Gautam secured 13,531 votes, while Samba secured 10,044 votes.
Similarly, in State 1(2), CPN-UML’s Bahadur Basnet defeated CPN-S’s Upendra Prasad Ghimire by 676 votes.
UML’s Basnet secured 14,539 votes. Ghimire, who also serves as State 1’s Minister of Information and Communication, obtained 13,863 votes.
