KATHMANDU: As the vote count nears completion, the Nepali Congress (NC) maintains its lead. In the ongoing vote count for the Nov 20 election, the Nepali Congress (NC) has taken the lead, followed by the CPN-UML.

So far, the NC has won 53 seats and the UML has won 41.

Currently, the NC leads in two constituencies, followed by the UML, which leads in three.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which has won seven seats, is leading in one constituency.

Similarly, the CPN (Unified Socialist Party), led by Madhav Kumar Nepal, has won 10 seats.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has won seven seats so far.

So far, the Prachanda-led Maoist Center has won 17 seats.

Likewise, the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has won six seats.
