Sunsari-1: JSP’s Ashok surpass RSP’s Goma by 4 votes

KATHMANDU: Ashok Kumar Rai of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has taken the lead in Sunsari Representative Assembly Constituency No. 1.

He trailed Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Goma Tamang. Tamang had previously taken the lead. She was on top until yesterday.

With 66,025 votes counted, Ashok Kumar Rai leads by four votes.

Ashok Kumar secured 13,801 votes, while Goma obtained 13,797 votes.
