NC’s Kancharam elected from Ramechhap

KATHMANDU: Purna Bahadur Tamang (Kancharam) of the Nepali Congress (NC) has won in Ramechhap by a wide margin.

According to the results of counting of votes completed this morning, he has won by surpassing his nearest rival Kailash Dhungel of CPN-UML by 16,369 votes.

According to the election officer’s office of Ramechhap, Tamang got 47,098 votes while Dhungel got 30,729 votes.

In the same way, Taranarayan Shrestha of Maoist and Yuvaraj Choulagai of Maoist have won in region 1 and Yuwaraj Chaulagain in Constituency  2.
