KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist center activists have obstructs the East-West Highway in Siraha’s Golbazar.
Maoist activists have been obstructing the road since last night to protest the fact that activists participating in the victory rally, along with UML’s Lilalanath Shrestha, pelted stones at the house of Shivanath Sah, the brother of Maoist’s nearest rival Bishwanath Sah, on Friday evening.
Around 10 p.m., the police opened the road. It is claimed that UML activists pelted stones at window and beat local 43-year-old Sreechan Sah who asked them not to do so.
Sah is being treated at Life Long Hospital in Golbazar after receiving four stitches to his head.
