KATHMANDU: The victory of Deepak Bohara of RPP has been confirmed from Rupandehi-3.

Bohara is almost certain to be elected to the House of Representatives from that district, defeating the Congress candidate and Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.

While approximately 2500 votes have yet to be counted, Bohora has a lead of 2800 votes. Even if every vote goes to Nepali Congress candidate Khan, he has no chance of winning.

According to the most recent vote totals, Bohara received 2,800 more votes than Khand. There are now only about 2,500 votes left to be counted.

Bohara’s supporters have prepared for a victory rally.
