LSP’s chair Mahantha Thakur elected from Mahottari-3
Thakur was elected with 16,375 votes.
KATHMANDU: Mahantha Thakur, Chairperson of the Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), has won the Mahottari Constituency No. 3.
Thakur was elected with 16,375 votes.
He defeated Hari Narayan Yadav of the JSP. Hari Narayan obtained 14,325 votes.
Similarly, independent candidate Ram Adhar Kapar received 12 733 votes, while Ilias Ansari of the Nepal Federal Socialist Party received 4,949 votes.
Mrigendra Yadav of the Janamat Party secured 4,252 votes.
The elected Thakur has reached 80 years.
