Kailali 2: UML Jhapat defeated, Arun Kumar of Nagarik Unmukti Party triumph
Chaudhary was elected by defeating CPN-UML candidate Jhapat Bahadur Rawal by a margin of 5,743 votes.
KATHMANDU: UML has been defeated in Kailali 2.
Arun Kumar Chaudhary, a candidate of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, has been elected to the House of Representatives.
Chaudhary was elected by defeating CPN-UML candidate Jhapat Bahadur Rawal by a margin of 5,743 votes.
Chaudhary got 21 thousand 871 votes while Rawal of AMAL got 16,128 votes.
Similarly, Bhagat Bahadur Badhuwal, the candidate of the Maoist Center, got only 15,116 votes.
