UML’s Lila Nath Shrestha elected from Siraha-3

KATHMANDU: Lila Nath Shrestha of CPN-UML has won for the second time from Siraha Constituency No. 3. He has won for the second time as a member of the House of Representatives from Siraha Constituency No. 3.

Shrestha defeated Bishwanath Sah of CPN Maoist Center by 1,182 votes.

Shrestha won by securing 28,064 votes while Sah got 26,882 votes.

Shrestha was backed by JSP Nepal, while Sah was a candidate from the power alliance.

Shrestha, who won in 2074, became the law minister in the government led by UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli
