NC’s Panta elected from Kailali-5

KATHMANDU: Dilli Raj Panta of the Nepali Congress was elected as the Kailali Representative Assembly Constituency No. 5 candidate.

Panta defeated outgoing UML MP Narad Muni Rana.

Panta was elected with 21,392 votes, while Rana secured 20,318 votes.

He defeated Rana by a vote count of 1,074.
