KATHMANDU: Man Bahadur Gurung of UML has won Kaski 1. Man Bahadur Gurung of the CPN-UML was elected as Kaski’s Constituency No. 1 Member of the House of Representatives.

Gurung defeated the ruling coalition’s candidate, Kishor Dutta Baral of the Nepali Congress, by a margin of 2,609 votes.

Gurung of the UML garnered 25,798 votes, while Baral of the Congress obtained 23,189 votes.
