Shekhar Koirala elected from Morang-6
Lal Babu Pandit was defeated by over 12,000 votes.
KATHMANDU: Shekhar Koirala, the leader of the Nepali Congress, has been elected to the House of Representatives from Morang Constituency 6.
He defeated Lal Babu Pandit of the CPN-UML by over 12,000 votes.
Koirala was elected with 35,213 votes. Pandit, his closest rival, has received 22,929 votes. Koirala won by a vote count of 12 thousand 284 hundred.
