Kailali 1: Ranjita Shrestha won from Nagarik Unmukti Party

KATHMANDU: Ranjita Shrestha, Chairperson of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, was elected to the Kailali Constituency No. 1 seat.

Shrestha was elected by a margin of 12,323 votes over Congress candidate Ram Janam Chaudhary.

While Shrestha secured 30,404 votes, Ram Janam secured only 18,8 votes.

Similarly, CPN UML candidate Tapendra Rawal secured 5,910 votes.

She is Resham Chaudhary’s spouse.
