KATHMANDU: Rajendra Lingden, RPP Chairperson and Member of the House of Representatives, was elected to the House of Representatives from Jhapa Constituency No. 3.
He won by securing 40,648 votes.
His closest rival, Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula, received 37,372 votes.
Rajendra went to the polls in coalition with the CPN UML.
