Ram Kumar Rai elected from Khotang, Bishal Bhattarai defeated

KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Center candidate Ram Kumar Rai ‘Pasang’ has won as a member of the House of Representatives from Khotang.

Rai defeated CPN-UML’s Bishal Bhattarai by a margin of 2,669 votes.

Rai obtained 31,351 votes and Bhattarai secured 28,682 votes.
