Suwal has defeated CPN-UML's Nawaraj Gelal by more than twice the margin of votes.
BHAKTAPUR: Prem Suwal, secretary of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party (NWPP) has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Bhaktapur-1.
Suwal has defeated CPN-UML’s Nawaraj Gelal by more than twice the margin of votes.
Suwal got 42,761 votes while UML’s Gelal secured only 11,968 votes.
The difference between Suwal and Gelal is only 30, 793 votes.
Suwal was elected from here for the second time.
