Rukum East: Maoist’s Purna Bahadur Gharti triumphs

KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center won its second House of Representatives victory.

Purna Bahadur Gharti Magar, a Maoist center candidate in Rukum East, has won with securing 12,262 votes.

While his closet rival UML candidate Kailash Kumar Malla secured 5,211.

Similarly, Chandra Raj Jhankri, an independent candidate, received 896 votes.

Surul Pun, an independent candidate, won in 1 and Dhan Bahadur KC, a Congress candidate, won in 2.
