UML’s Yogesh Bhattarai triumphs from Taplejung

KATHMANDU: Yogesh Bhattarai of the CPN-UML was elected to the House of Representatives from Taplejung.

He won for the second time with a 208-vote margin.

Bhattarai secured 21,946 votes.

Khel Bahadur Budha Chhetri (Parag), the candidate of the CPN-Maoist Center and Yagesh’s opponent, secured 21,738 votes in Taplejung, the only House of Representatives constituency.
