Raju Bista of RPP’s Raju Bista emerge victorious in Kathmandu-2 State ‘B’

KATHMANDU: Raju Bista of Rastriya Prajatantra Party has won in Kathmandu 2 State ‘B’.

He won by defeating CPN-UML candidate Suwarna Shrestha.

While Bista won by getting 12,163 votes, his nearest competitor Suvarna Shrestha of UML got 9,085 votes.

Bista won by a margin of 3,078 votes. Shrestha, who was defeated, is the former mayor of Shankharapur Municipality.
