Panchthar: Nembang could not surpass Angdembe

KATHMANDU: The alliance maintains its majority in the House of Representatives in Panchthar.

Bhishmaraj Angdembe of Nepali Congress leads UML’s Basanta Kumar Nembang by 591 votes.

Angdembe secured 8,796 votes after 17,412 votes were counted. Nembang secured  8,205 votes.

Panchthar, which has only one House of Representatives constituency, received 75,352 votes.
