Dr. Sunil Sharma’s Nobel becomes the largest taxpayer company in health sector

KATHMANDU: Nobel Medical College and Teaching Hospital becomes one of the health-care organizations that pays the most taxes to the government.

Among the companies in the health sector, Nobel paid the highest tax in the financial year 2077/78.

Dr. Sunil Sharma runs Nobel, a teaching hospital in Biratnagar. Sharma is currently running for the Nepali Congress House of Representatives from Morang 3.

On Tax Day, the government honored the companies and individuals who pay the most tax on Wednesday as part of the Tax Week program, which runs from Nov 17-23.

Sharma also manages the Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital.
