Taplejung: Yogesh took early lead, Khel Prasad trailing

KATHMANDU: Yogesh Bhattarai has taken an initial lead in the House of Representatives in Taplejung. Bhattarai of CPN-UML has got 68 votes while 109 votes were counted in Yangma and Olangchung Gola of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality.

Similarly, Khel Prasad Budachhetri, the candidate of CPN Maoist Center, secured 33 votes.

Out of 109 votes counted, 4 votes have been invalidated.

Similarly, RPP’s Ram Bahadur Karki got 2 votes, Jaspa’s Chandra Maden got 1 vote and LSP’s Chaitanya Prakash Kedem got 1 vote. Counting of votes has started from Phaktanglung Rural Municipality.
