NC’s Shyam Patel victory in Parsa Constituency No. 2 (A)

KATHANDU: Nepali Congress has opened an account in Parsa State Assembly.

Shyam Patel of Nepali Congress won in Parsa Constituency No. 2 (A).

Patel was elected to the state assembly after defeating Ram Naresh Prasad Yadav of the JSP by a margin of 1,657 votes.

Patel received 13,784 votes, while Ram Naresh Yadav received 12,127 votes.

Even in 2007, the Nepali Congress was victorious in this region. Rajeshwor Prasad of the Congress party was elected with 10,259 votes, while Ram Naresh Yadav of the then-Federal Socialist party was defeated with 10,079 votes.
