Prachanda’s lead remains in Gorkha-2, UML’s Mia third

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairperson of the CPN Maoist Center, has taken a wide lead in the House of Representatives Gorkha 2.

Dahal is leading by almost three times the nearest competitor.

While 12,615 votes have been counted so far, Dahal has taken the lead with 7,278 votes.

Kavindra Burlakoti of the National Independent Party is trailing Dahal with 2,000 votes.

CPN-UML candidate Abdus Mia is in third place. Mian got 1,698 votes.
