KATHMANDU: About 24,000 votes have been counted for the representative assembly of Lamjung.
With 23,870 votes counted, UML’s Prithvi Subba Gurung has taken a commanding lead. He has a 1,820 vote lead.
While PS secured 11,617 votes, Dev Prasad Gurung of the Maoist Center secured 9,797 votes.
Dharmaraj KC of the Rastriya Swatantra Party secured 1,210 votes, Bikash Gurung of the Mongol National Organization secured 235 votes, and Bal Chandra Shrestha of the RPP secured 254 votes.
Narendra Bahadur Gurung of JSP, who died while the votes were being counted, has 41 votes, and Nanda Jung Gurung of Aamul Pariwartan has 14 votes.
