Laxmi Intercontinental & Global IME sign an MOU to extend financing on EVs
Customers can now finance their Hyundai EVs through Global IME bank at a 12.99% interest rate. The vehicles purchased through the plan will be delivered within three business days.
KATHMANDU: Laxmi Intercontinental, the sole authorized Hyundai distributor in Nepal, has signed an agreement with Global IME Bank Limited to expand financing options for its Electric Vehicles.
Rupendra Wagle, Head of Small and Medium Credit Department of Global IME Bank Limited and Indra Prasad Sapkota, General Manager of Laxmi Intercontinental signed the memorandum of understanding.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Intercontinental. Customers can now finance their Hyundai EVs through Global IME bank at a 12.99% interest rate. The vehicles purchased through the plan will be delivered within three business days.
After the completion of its pending merger with Bank of Kathmandu Limited, Global IME Bank Limited will be the largest bank in Nepal in terms of paid-up capital. The contract signed between the two parties will enable a large number of EV enthusiasts to easily obtain the vehicle of their choice from Hyundai.
Customers can take advantage of the offers by visiting any Global IME branch or any of Hyundai’s 17 showrooms across the country and contacting the appropriate departments. Hyundai’s Kona and IONIQ 5 are two of Nepal’s best-selling EVs. Customers can easily access both options thanks to this agreement.
In solidarity with Hyundai Motor Company’s commitment to a sustainable future, Hyundai Nepal has been undertaking various socioeconomic initiatives to promote electric vehicles through its Be (v) the change initiative. The company hopes that this MOU with one of Nepal’s largest banks will make EV ownership more accessible to all.
