NC’s Gagan Thapa emerges victorious from Kathmandu-4, preparations for victory procession (photos included)

KATHMANDU: Gagan Thapa, the alliance’s common candidate on behalf of the Nepali Congress, has won in Kathmandu’s Constituency No. 4.

Thapa secured 21,302 votes in the most recent election results.

His closest competitor, Rajan Bhattarai of the UML, secured 13,855 votes.

Thapa’s victory has yet to be declared.

Congress, on the other hand is preparing to take out a victory procession after Thapa wins.
