The Congress won from Mustang and Manang districts while UML won the Lalitpur Constituency No. 2 seat. Yogesh Gauchan Thakali of Congress was elected MP from Mustang.

KATHMANDU: According to the latest results of vote counting of election to the House of Representatives, ruling Nepali Congress has won two seats while CPN (UML) has won one.

The Congress won from Mustang and Manang districts while UML won the Lalitpur Constituency No. 2 seat. Yogesh Gauchan Thakali of Congress was elected MP from Mustang.

Likewise, Tek Bahadur Gurung of Congress won a federal MP seat from Manang.

Meanwhile, CPN-UML registered its first victory from Lalitpur. UML’s Prem Bahadur Maharjan won in Lalitpur Constituency No. 2.

According to the Election Commission, as of 1 o’clock today, Nepali Congress is leading in 35 seats while CPN (UML) is leading in 32 seats.

Also, CPN (Maoist Center) is leading in 9 seats, Rastriya Swatantra Party in 8 seats, Rastriya Prajatantra Party in 5 seats and 19 in other seats.
