BIRATNAGAR: Morang’s votes in all six constituencies have yet to be officially released. Although the counting of votes in Constituencies 3, 4, 5, and 6 began at 1 p.m., the official vote results have yet to be announced. The counting of votes for Constituencies Nos. 4, 5, and 6 has begun at Adarsha Secondary School.

So far, no official information has been released. According to Anantaraj Neupane, a journalist from the first post, the delay in announcing the vote results caused a problem in the official information flow. Journalists who constantly report for online, TV, and other outlets are perplexed, he claims.

According to Baburam Bhandari, State Correspondent of eKagaj, if the official vote results are not available, the credibility of the results will be called into question.

It was not made public until the votes of one ward were completed, according to Hem Bahadur Budhathoki, Assistant Election Officer of the Office of the Chief Election Officer.

Budhathoki stated: “We are unable to make it public at this time. Votes are currently being counted in four locations within one constituency. As proportional and direct votes will get mixed up from one to the other in such a situation, it is said that it will be made public only after counting once with the parties’ agreement.”

He also stated that if we have to announce the results soon, we will need to call another all-party meeting.
