Rekha takes the early lead at Dang 2

KATHMANDU: Rekha Sharma of the CPN (Maoist Center), a Democratic-Left Alliance candidate, has taken the lead in the Dang Constituency No. 2 House of Representatives seat.

She secured1,450 votes out of a total of 2,780 counted.

Shankar Pokharel of the CPN (UML) secured 846 votes, according to Chief Electoral Officer Kripasur Karki.

This region had 133 thousand 748 voters, and 79,446 votes were cast.

The District Coordination Committee in Ghorahi is currently counting votes in this area.
