KATHMANDU: The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) Nepal has taken control of the Rupandehi Constituency No. 4.

Sarvendra Nath Shukla, the LSP candidate, garnered 994 votes out of the 2,548 votes cast for House of Representatives members from various regions.

According to the election office, Nepali Congress candidate Pramod Kumar Yadav garnered 723 votes, Janamat Party candidate Bhupendra Prasad Yadav garnered 493 votes, and JSP candidate Omprakash Yadav garnered 31 votes.

Similarly, Kanhaiya Bania of LSP, a member of the state assembly, garnered 1,195 votes, Aashta Bhuja Pathak of Nepali Congress garnered 487 votes, and Jitendranath Shukla of Janamat Party garnered 495 votes.

In Constituency No. 4, Nepali Congress candidate Basiuddin Khale garnered 833 votes, Janamat Party candidate Arjun Jaiswal garnered 488 votes, and LOSPA candidate Mohanlal Yadav garnered 450 votes (2).
