NC candidate also won in Mustang’s state assembly

POKHARA: Congress’ Namdu Gurung was elected to the Mustang State Assembly (A).

He defeated UML’s Indradhara Bista by a 255-vote margin.

Namdu secured 1,048 votes, while Bista secured 793 votes.

Yogesh Gauchan of Congress has also been elected to the House of Representatives. Mustang Congress had chosen all three candidates who were under the age of 40.

Votes for the State Assembly (B) are currently being counted.
