Dina is ahead of Nepal’s Thapa of RPP by double votes in Makwanpur

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has taken the initiative in Makwanpur 1.

The Congress’s Mahalaxmi Upadhyaya (Dina), the ruling coalition’s common candidate, has taken the lead with 786 votes.

So far 1335 votes have been counted.

Similarly, RPP Nepal Chairperson Kamal Thapa trails with 349 votes.

The vote is still being counted.
