With 100 votes counted so far, CPN-UML candidate Krishna Bhakta Pokharel has taken the lead.
Pokhrel secured 53 votes, Umesh Shrestha of Nepali Congress secured 33 votes, and Lamichhane of Rastriya Swatantra Party (National Independent Party) secured 5 votes.
